Xmas lights and shopping

I tell myself each year that I'm going to be more organised and get things done and finished in time.  I don't know how much more organised I've actually been this year, although I have made good progress on all the xmas cards.  There's always so much to get done at this time of year - and so much to see!!

On a recent shopping trip to London, I just had to photograph the Swarovski crystal window display at Harrods.  Have a look at this magnificence!!
This dress apparently cost about £250,000!  And it's being used as a once off...  My photo doesn't do it justice, especially because of the reflections in the window.  But it truly is beautiful.

I have a couple of cards to share (at last!!).
I've used a Lili of the Valley die cut pre-coloured image for this card.  All I did was add some glitter to spruce it up.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Ribbon and silver card from my stash.
Corner punch - Martha Stewart
Patterned paper is from 'Forever Friends' Cosy Christmas.
Die cut is a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Large.

This next card also has a Lili of the Valley pre-coloured die-cut.
I used an XCut nesting die 'Ornate Frame' for the shape.
Snowflakes are from the above mentioned Forever Friends paper - I hand cut them into star shapes & attached them to the card with 3d foam.
The snowflakes were embossed on the paper with the Sizzix Christmas Set #3 embossing folder.
Wooden snowflake bought from a local craft store.  I painted it white & added some Glitter Glue.
The inside has card I used from my stash.  I punched the navy card with a Martha Stewart punch.
Stars were die cut using the Sizzix Framelits 'Star' dies.
Shape in white was die cut using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One die.

Lastly, I thought I'd share another photo taken in London - of the Christmas lights.  They're really pretty to see.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comments.  I really do appreciate it.
Have an awesome week.
Bronwen =)
